The purchase of a BWT Perla Silk Ecomix compact complex filter replaces the installation of several specialized filters. This will reduce the cost of water purification and save useful space at home. The filter works automatically and its maintenance consists only of filling the tablet salt in time.
CHARACTERISTICS OF FILTER DESIGN AND OPERATION
All filter components are mounted in a single block, which consists of a housing and a control valve. The elements of the drainage and distribution system are closed with a suitable cover. Inside the case there is a cylinder with filter material, as well as a place for storing salt and preparing a saline solution. In the upper part of the filter there is a control controller – an electromechanical valve with an LCD display.
Complex water purification technology in one device is possible thanks to the use of a multi-component mixture Ecomix. This is a proprietary development of the Ecosoft company. The mixture consists of components with different purposes, each of which captures or neutralizes a certain type of dirt.
In the filtration process, the water passes through a layer of filter material. The Ecomix mixture traps dirt particles, which are then removed from it during regeneration. The operation of the filter is fully automated and does not require your attention.

The BWT Perla Silk Ecomix filter is designed to purify water from iron compounds, manganese, hardness salts and organic impurities. It has a modern compact design and is suitable for installation in apartments with 1 bathroom and a kitchen. There will be enough water for the daily domestic needs of a family of 3-5 people. Thanks to its ultra-compact design, the filter is ideal for small apartments and small houses.
The filter is connected to the cold water supply pipe, effectively cleans the water and independently monitors all its work processes.
The water, pre-cleaned from mechanical impurities, enters the filter box, which contains the Ecomix filter material. The material consists of five components that successively hold iron, manganese, organic impurities and hardness salts. Purified water is supplied to the user through the central pipe of the cabin.
When the source of filter material is exhausted, the filter itself goes into regeneration, but only at a time when water is used minimally, so as not to deprive you of access to purified water. In addition, the control valve remembers the intensity of water use at different times and adjusts in such a way that there is enough clean water even during peak use, for example, during weekends.
REGENERATION DEVELOPS IN 5 PHASES:
1. Rinsing with a reverse flow of water. At the same time, iron and manganese compounds are washed from the filter material.
2. A salt solution is supplied from the tank to the filter box, passes through Ecomix ® and removes hardness salts and organic impurities from it. Contamination together with the waste solution is discharged into the sewer.
3. Short rinse. Once again it loosens the material and washes away the remains of the solution.
4. Washing the Ecomix ® with a direct stream of water to distribute the material layers in the right order.
5. Filling the salt tank with water to dissolve the tableted salt and prepare the solution for subsequent regeneration.
6. After that, the system can be used for water purification.
Thanks to the use of a multifunctional valve, the filter does not need constant attention. The only important task of the user during maintenance is timely filling of salt. This guarantees effective regeneration of the filter material, continuous water resources and quality.
In case of any problem, the valve will inform with a text message on the screen and show the contacts of the service center.
