The filter CT Ecosoft FPC 1465 is designed for the effective removal of hydrogen sulphide, which causes the unpleasant smell of “rotten eggs”.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MODEL
Activated carbon CENTAUR® (produced by Calgon Carbon, USA) is used as filter material in Ecosoft FPC 1465 CT.

CENTAUR ® has catalytic properties and is able to oxidize hydrogen sulfide to safe and odorless compounds.

As a result of cleaning, the water will become transparent, and the external taste and unpleasant smell will disappear.

To date, there are not so many effective solutions for removing hydrogen sulfide from water. The simplest and most effective method is to use the patented CENTAUR material. This material is activated carbon, processed using a special technology, as a result of which its surface acquires catalytic properties and is able to oxidize hydrogen sulfide into safe and odorless compounds.

METHOD OF WORK
The filter is connected to the cold water supply. Water pre-cleaned from mechanical impurities enters the filter box filled with CENTAUR material, which effectively removes hydrogen sulfide. Purified water is supplied to the consumer through the central housing pipe.

Recovery
In order to restore the working characteristics of the material, the so-called regeneration is performed periodically. The control valve switches the filter into regeneration mode at the set time. For the convenience of the consumer, the valve settings are programmed in such a way that the filter regenerates during the period of minimum water consumption. To do this, the water passes through the filter with a high-speed reverse flow, which cleans the surface of the material, washing away all impurities, and is discharged into the sewer. After that, the system can be used again for water purification. Raw water is used to regenerate these filters.

Thanks to the use of a multifunctional valve, the filter does not require constant attention.
