The ultraviolet water disinfectant Ecosoft E-480 is a metal box inside which an ultraviolet lamp is placed in a special quartz sleeve.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Water enters the body of the ultraviolet disinfectant, where the microorganisms are actually disinfected. The incoming stream of water washes the quartz cover and receives the necessary dose of ultraviolet radiation.

A quartz sleeve around the bulb prevents water from entering the body of the emitter itself, making the system safe to use.
